Concrete floors can be as elaborate or cost effective as desired, depending upon your needs.
Unlike using paint, our coloring process consists of using VOC compliant stains that will penetrate the substrate of the concrete. This assures that it will not peel, crack or fade when exposed to the weather. The end result often resembles a natural stone appearance. Therefore,
the earth tones are the most widely used color choices.
On plain concrete, hairline cracks and minor imperfections can often distract from the appearance. However, by staining/coloring your concrete, imperfections that would otherwise look unfinished, will actually enhance
the look rather than distract from it. Natural markings,minor inconsistencies and slight color variations are embraced as part of the unique charm of each individual floor. Once it is colored, we will apply a durable, clear, hard sealer coat that will enhance your color as well
as protect it further from the elements.
The stone finish has a muted shine. A higher gloss (resembles a marble look) can also be requested. However, the classic rustic, unfinished, even weathered look is one of our more popular looks.
